Owner/Licensed Esthetician

Jessica has officially been in the spa industry for 14+ years but has previous experience in production and make up. She attended Cal State Channel Islands for Business and Marinello Beauty School for Esthetics. She is also additional certified in Novalash, H2T, PCA, Ayur Medic, Advance Extractions, and Perfect Peel. Jessica combined these two passions when founding the Skin Care and Lash Department of Pure Spa.

Meet Rowa

Licensed Esthetician

Rowa, originally from the Middle East, relocated to San Diego in 2009. With over 12+ years of experience in the medical field, she has honed her skills working in hospitals, giving her a strong understanding of the human body and enabling her to create personalized treatment plans for her client.

Her main objective is to instill confidence in her clients, allowing them to feel comfortable in their own skin. Her treatment room is adorned with a holistic touch, creating a soothing and enjoyable atmosphere.

Licensed Esthetician

Meet Gloria, also known as Glo, an accomplished esthetician with 8 years of expertise in skincare. Graduating from the prestigious Federico Beauty Institute in 2015, she has become a skilled professional who takes delight in witnessing client transformations. Passionate about the art and science of skincare, she enjoys customizing treatments to cater to each client’s specific needs.

Outside the spa, Gloria’s love for food and cooking shines through as she explores grocery stores for new ingredients and experiments with recipes in her kitchen. With her warm personality and dedication to her craft, Gloria is not only a valued esthetician but also a joy to be around in every aspect of her life.

Meet Taylor, a skilled esthetician who completed her training at the San Diego City College Esthetics Program in 2019. Taylor’s true passion lies in empowering her clients to embrace their natural beauty and achieve their skincare aspirations with confidence. Her personalized approach to skincare treatments ensures that each client receives tailored solutions to meet their specific needs, leaving them feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after every session.

Meet Nicole

Lash Technician

With nine years in esthetics and eight years specializing in lash extensions, Nicole brings a wealth of expertise to our team. A graduate of Bellus Academy in 2014, Nicole is dedicated to providing customized and stunning classic and volume lashes. She loves enhancing natural beauty by creating personalized styles that perfectly match each individual’s personality and facial beauty, helping shorten their daily routines. Nicole is passionate about educating clients on the essentiality of caring for their services and ensuring their utmost comfort in the environment.

Certified Massage Therapist

Jess has been in the spa industry for 10+ years after attending United Education Institution to receive her certification in massage therapy. Before joining the Pure Spa team, she was the Lead Massage Therapist for Massage Heights for three years and also worked at Massage Envy for many years.

Meet Danice

Certified Massage Therapist

Danice became a Licensed Massage Therapist after graduating from UEI College in 2009. She has a love for people and helping them recover, whether you’re having a bad day or hurting from soreness and pain.

Meet Chrisha

Certified Massage Therapist

Chrisha attended Bellus Academy and successfully completed studies at the end of 2016. Since then, she has dedicated herself to the art of massage therapy for approximately seven years. During this time, she had the privilege of collaborating closely with the health and fitness industry, particularly in a gym setting where she worked with exceptional athletes, including powerlifters and bodybuilders. Being able to assist individuals in their recovery journey, not only in the gym but also in alleviating the everyday work fatigue, is her true passion.

A licensed massage therapist since 2021 and an HHP since 2023, Chloe is a dedicated professional who embodies the healing power of touch. Graduating from Healing Hands School of Holistic Health, Chloe’s expertise blends the art of massage with a holistic approach to wellness. Passionate about witnessing the transformative affects her work has on clients, Chloe finds immense satisfaction in the remarkable outcomes that massage therapy can achieve for the body.

Meet Vanessa

Hair Stylist

Vanessa has been in the beauty industry for 25 years since attending cosmetology. Since the beginning, Vanessa has focused on continuing her education earning certifications as a Framesi Master Colorist, Eufora Educator, and Hot Heads Certified Extension Technician.

Meet Julie

Marketing Manager

Julie has been a Licensed Cosmetologist for 13+ years. During her salon career, she shifted her focus into customer service and management. Julie has managed at Adora Salon Aveda + Adora Studio in Oceanside, CA, Drybar Kaka’ako and Drybar Waikiki in Oahu, HI. Julie was also previously the Spa Manager of Pure Spa & Chiropractic before moving to Hawaii in 2018, and once again from 2021 to 2023 before relocating to Northern California. Despite moving away again, Julie is overseeing Pure Spa from a distance, knowing its care continues beyond physical proximity.

Outside of the spa, she enjoys spending time with her husband, cat, and family or enjoying the outdoors, plants, and sunshine!

Meet Frankee

Spa Coordinator

With a longtime passion for beauty, Frankee embarked on her journey in the industry at the age of 17 and hasn’t looked back since. She garnered her certification as a MUA and aspires to extend further, completing her cosmetology education. Frankee finds joy in her ability to effortlessly transition between makeup, nails, hair, and more, consistently pushing herself beyond boundaries to achieve and surpass her own expectations.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Frankee’s entrepreneurial spirit shines through a vibrant DJ company and a flourishing press-on nail venture. In her cherished free moments, she enjoys personally experimenting with her hair, nails, and makeup, reflecting her dedication to her craft in both her personal and professional spheres.
